The Blosser House & Barn captures the history of the property while offering modern amenities. As you venture onto the property from the gravel road, you’ll see the Dutch Gambrel Barn under renovation to the west of the house. This historic barn will be converted into a large Event Hall, easily able to accommodate more than 250 guests comfortably.

Missouri Legislature Awards Dr. Arthur & Carolyn Elman For Historic Restoration of the Henry Blosser Estate

Dr. Arthur and Carolyn Elman of Kansas City would like to thank the entire Heartland Historic Homes Team and their project contributors for the restoration of the historic 1878 Henry Blosser House & Swiss Horse Barn, Malta Bend, Missouri. The couple received awards from the Missouri Senate and House of Representatives for the four-year restoration of the Blosser Estate near the Historic Village of Arrow Rock. The barn will soon open as an exclusive event facility. Bill Hart, Missouri Alliance for Historic Preservation, presented The McReynolds Award to the group.
